WRPC welcomes you to our church!
White Rock Presbyterian Church is made up of folks who are on a journey with Jesus and with one another. We are older and younger, but mostly older. We love to worship, and we love to eat together. We find joy and purpose in working with others to meet physical and spiritual needs. We have found our purpose and joy in belonging to Christ, and we welcome fellow travelers along the way.
We welcome those struggling with deep problems and those who seem to have it all together. We welcome folks from all spiritual backgrounds, and those with no spiritual background. We welcome fellow travelers of all colors and ethnicities; we welcome married folks, single folks, divorced and widowed folks. We welcome children and teenagers.
We value questions of all kinds: theological questions, questions about life, questions about suffering. We find value in praying over, thinking about, and talking about questions, and living with uncertainties. We look to Scripture for help and guidance, and we welcome the presence and direction of the Holy Spirit as we learn and grow. We welcome those who want to come wrestle with the questions, with us.
We know that there are people who have been injured by religion in one way or another, and we invite you to come as you are. We will do all we can to make you feel at home. You are welcome if you are not at all sure about Jesus and Christianity and Christians.
You are welcome.
