From the Pastor
Whether you're new to the community or a long-time resident or just passing through, White Rock Presbyterian Church members, staff, and corporate body greet you and welcome you in the name of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us for worship, music, fellowship, and Sunday School on any Lord's Day. Also, we hope that you will feel free to explore what it means to share in our common life and work of the church and its members. We believe that there's always room here for new sisters and brothers in Christ, whether as members or as friends, and that the Risen Lord may have already prepared a place here for you.
The Session of White Rock Presbyterian Church is available to you personally, to counsel or pray with you about any matter at any time. And if our officers, our staff, or our congregation can be of service to you for the sake of Christ, please don't hesitate to call.
As far back as 1837 the General Assembly declared that the church, by its very nature, is a missionary society whose purpose is to share the love of God in Jesus Christ in word and deed and with all the world. Witnessing to the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world, Presbyterians engage in mission activities, seek to alleviate hunger, foster self-development, respond to disasters, support mission works, preach the gospel, heal the sick, and educate new generations for the future.
In partnership with more than 150 churches and Christian organizations around the world, the missionary efforts of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) involve approximately 1,000 volunteers and compensated personnel.
Grace and peace to you, friend, from our Lord Jesus Christ!
